Dr. Seuss Day is celebrated throughout the world on February 28, 2014.

It is an homage to the great author who, through his children’s books, has educated and entertained millions of children around the world for over 50 years.

On Dr. Seuss Day, CBC President Greg Trotter visited an Orange Center Elementary School kindergarten class to read the famous book ABC.

Equipped with the cat hat, Greg read to the children, who held their own books and followed along.

Reading is not only an important and essential tool; it is a source of fun and escape, a hobby that can be used for a lifetime.

We are excited to have participated in the event and can’t wait to go back next year to read another Dr. Seuss tale.
